Jambi Region Food Prices, Monday (August 19th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (19/8/2024) at 12:01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, mackerel, broiler chicken, shallots, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, shallots, curly red chilies, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,560 (2.88%) to Rp55,760 per kg. Milkfish experienced the largest price drop of Rp3,460 (11.02%) to Rp27,930 per kg.
