Daily Chicken Egg Prices at Modern Markets, November 2023-2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chicken eggs in South Sulawesi's modern markets is recorded at Rp32,700 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, mirroring the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp34,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in South Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 3.81% from the previous price of Rp31,500 per kg.

The highest record for the daily price increase of chicken eggs in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2024 with an increase of 12.77%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2023 with a decrease of -11.34%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show eight commodities decreasing and nine increasing. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Rice, Medium Quality II Rice, Super Quality I Rice, Chicken Eggs, and Fresh Chicken Eggs.

5. Red Chili per kg: Rp23,450 (down 28.72%)
6. Large Red Chili per kg: Rp20,200 (down 24.91%)
7. Bird's Eye Chili per kg: Rp33,400 (up 1.37%)
8. Medium-Sized Garlic per kg: Rp50,400 (up 1%)
9. Curly Red Chili per kg: Rp26,700 (down 31.36%)
10. Rice per kg: Rp14,850 (down 0.67%)
11. Shallot per kg: Rp44,400 (up 12.69%)
12. Inferior Quality I Rice per kg: Rp15,050 (unchanged)
13. Inferior Quality II Rice per kg: Rp15,050 (unchanged)
