Netherlands Ranked Best Country for Women; Is Indonesia on the List?

The Netherlands was named the best country for women in 2021, according to a survey conducted by *CEOWorld* magazine. The country scored 99.7 points, making it the most gender-equal and friendly for women's lives in the nation.

The top five out of a total of 156 countries on the list were dominated by Scandinavian countries. Norway ranked second with a score of 99.4 points. Sweden was third (99.2 points), Denmark fourth (98.7 points), and Finland fifth (98.3 points).

Indonesia ranked 87th, just after the Maldives (86th) and before Vietnam (88th).

*CEOWorld* magazine surveyed nearly 390,500 women worldwide. The assessment was based on several factors, including gender equality, safety, income equality, concern for human rights, women's empowerment, the employment rate of women aged 25 and over, and women's inclusion in society.
