Today's Food Prices in Jambi on March 13: Red Chili Up, Rice Down

Several food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 13, 2026) at 1:26 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases include broiler chicken meat, red bird's eye chili, beef rump, premium rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as medium rice and bulk palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili had the highest increase of Rp1,910 (5.09%) to Rp39,455 per kg. Meanwhile, medium rice had the sharpest decrease of Rp122 (0.91%) to Rp13,267 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp39,455 per kg (up 5.09%)
