Latest Food Prices in Banten: Onions Up, Oil Down

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (19/9/2024) at 15:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, skipjack tuna, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp270 (2.49%) to Rp11,110 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn decreased the most sharply by Rp450 (5.72%) to Rp7,420 per kg.
