Today''s Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Rice Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (5/9/2025) at 09:52 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 increased and 7 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler eggs, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, curly red chili, and broiler meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, red shallots, red cayenne pepper, and dried soybeans (imported) decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Skipjack tuna commodity surged the highest by Rp9,583 (21.9%) to Rp53,333 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of premium rice fell the deepest by Rp15,180 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.

2. Skipjack Tuna: Rp53,333 per kg (up 21.9%)
3. Large Red Chili: Rp51,667 per kg (up 12.47%)
4. Milkfish: Rp50,000 per kg (up 10.04%)
5. Garlic Bulb: Rp49,333 per kg (up 16.0%)
6. Mackerel: Rp48,333 per kg (up 18.97%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp43,333 per kg (up 0.23%)
8. Red Shallots: Rp41,667 per kg (down 12.55%)
9. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp41,667 per kg (down 0.23%)
10. Broiler Meat: Rp41,333 per kg (up 12.73%)
11. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,667 per kg (up 2.59%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp21,333 per liter (up 2.74%)
