Aceh Region Food Prices Monday (August 26th): Chicken Price Up, Chili Price Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (26/8/2024) at 12:25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, garlic cloves, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp770 (2.28%) to Rp34,530 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp340 (0.78%) to Rp43,070 per kg.
