Latest Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Oil, Chicken Meat, and Salt Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (20/9/2024) at 09.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) showed the highest price increase of Rp760 (7.31%) to Rp11,160 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,860 (9.61%) to Rp26,910 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in East Java according to Bapanas on September 20, 2024, at 09.21 WIB.

3. Mackerel: Rp33,520 per kg (up 0.09%)
4. Broiler Chicken: Rp32,160 per kg (down 1.02%)
5. Milkfish: Rp32,060 per kg (down 1.66%)
6. Red Chili Peppers: Rp29,120 per kg (down 8.71%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp26,910 per kg (down 9.61%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,170 per kg (down 0.4%)
9. Shallots: Rp20,600 per kg (down 5.98%)
10. Red Chilies: Rp20,390 per kg (down 4.9%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp16,610 per kg (up 0.91%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,500 per liter (down 2.19%)
