Current Food Prices in Central Java: Rice and Oil Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (15/4/2025) at 15.04 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized salt, packaged wheat flour, dry soybean (import), medium-grade rice (SPHP), and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, pure beef, large red chilies, chicken eggs, and loose wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour saw the highest price increase, up by Rp138 (1.18%) to Rp11,802 per kg. Red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp2,949 (3.45%) to Rp82,585 per kg.
