Food Prices in Banten, Tuesday (January 7th): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (7/1/2025) at 12:28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, whole garlic cloves, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, Indian mackerel, granulated sugar, pure beef, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp420 (3.63%), reaching Rp12,000 per kg. Meanwhile, fine iodized salt experienced the largest price decrease of Rp3,140 (28.83%), reaching Rp7,750 per kg.
