Latest Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta: Sugar Price Rises

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (September 7, 2025) at 12.46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are imported dried soybeans, red cayenne pepper, broiler eggs, broiler chicken meat, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, Minyakita, garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The price of red cayenne pepper increased the most by Rp1,579 (5.95%) to Rp28,105 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the most by Rp980 (2.69%) to Rp35,500 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp35,500 per kg (down 2.69%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp35,000 per kg (up 1.37%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,667 per kg (up 0.24%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp29,958 per kg (down 0.52%)
10. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp28,105 per kg (up 5.95%)
