Prices of Low-Quality Grade II Rice in These 10 Provinces Are the Highest (Friday, September 9, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 12,010 per kg for low-quality grade II rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, September 9, 2022. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 12,010 per kg.

Low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Southeast Sulawesi was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 15,100 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality grade II rice in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 17,600 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Sumatra, low-quality grade II rice was sold at Rp 14,500 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of low-quality grade II rice was Rp 13,500 per kg in Central Kalimantan, Rp 13,300 per kg in South Sulawesi, and Rp 13,000 per kg in South Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, 14 provinces had low-quality grade II rice sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality grade II rice were DKI Jakarta, West Sulawesi, and West Nusa Tenggara.
