Sumatera Barat Food Price List Today: Chili and Beef Prices Down (Sunday, December 10, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (10/12/2023) at 11:54 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, fine iodized salt, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp610 (9.59%) to Rp6,970 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel experienced the lowest decrease of Rp4,250 (9.13%) to Rp42,320 per kg.

4. Indian Mackerel: Rp42,320 per kg (down 9.13%)
5. Skipjack Tuna: Rp38,000 per kg (up 0.93%)
6. Garlic Cloves: Rp34,060 per kg (down 1.33%)
7. Milkfish: Rp32,010 per kg (unchanged)
8. Shallots: Rp29,440 per kg (up 0.55%)
9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp27,540 per kg (down 1.85%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,330 per kg (down 2.5%)
