The Price of Super II Quality Rice in Southeast Sulawesi is the Highest in Indonesia (Monday, October 3, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Super II rice (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 14,350 per kg as of Monday, October 3, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 14,330 per kg.

The price of Super II rice in modern markets in Southeast Sulawesi was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 23,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of Super II rice in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 36,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Lampung, the price of Super II rice was sold at Rp 19,800 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of Super II rice in Banten was Rp 17,950 per kg, West Sumatra Rp 17,700 per kg, and South Sulawesi Rp 16,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were 23 provinces with Super II rice sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for Super II rice were East Java, North Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi.
