Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Thursday, March 21, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (21/3/2024) at 13.15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, granulated sugar, red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, medium rice, dry soybean (import), and red onions have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp170 (1.1%) to Rp15,680 per liter. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp550 (1.46%) to Rp37,040 per kg.
