Fresh Chicken Meat Prices at Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in Central Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp34,150. This price is up Rp550 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp27,700.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in Central Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 14.02% from the previously recorded price of Rp29,950.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2020 with an increase of 53.44%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020 with a decrease of -28.99%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Sulawesi show ten commodities decreased and 13 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Red Onion in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Sized White Onion, White Onion, Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Grade II Low-Quality Rice, Grade II Medium-Quality Rice, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Sized Red Onion, and Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
