Jakarta Food Prices, Sunday (April 13th): Chili Prices Rise, Cooking Oil Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (13/4/2025) at 17.51 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include table salt, skipjack tuna, shallots, large red chilies, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, up by Rp5,110 (5.28%) to Rp101,875 per kg. Packaged wheat flour experienced the sharpest price drop, down by Rp150 (1.22%) to Rp12,156 per kg.
