Today's Food Price Update in Banten: Rice, Onion, and Sugar Prices Increase (Monday, February 26, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (26/2/2024) at 13:15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, medium rice, chicken eggs, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, pure beef, garlic bulbs, mackerel fish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,980 (3.79%) to Rp81,610 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp9,480 (13.17%) to Rp62,520 per kg.
