Food Prices Monday (August 25) Banten Region: Buffalo Meat Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (August 25, 2025) at 12:07 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, frozen buffalo meat (imported), pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, packaged wheat flour, skipjack tuna, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The commodity frozen buffalo meat (imported) increased the most by Rp3,000 (2.68%) to Rp115,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili decreased the sharpest by Rp3,218 (8.08%) to Rp36,615 per kg.
