The Price of Curly Red Chili Peppers in East Kalimantan is the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, February 18, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 59,480 per kg for curly red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, February 18, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 58,800 per kg.

The daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, at Rp 93,200 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of curly red chilies in this province is lower; previously it was recorded at Rp 104,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Kalimantan, curly red chilies were sold at Rp 86,500 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of curly red chilies in East Java was Rp 70,500 per kg, West Papua Rp 69,900 per kg, and Gorontalo Rp 62,150 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are six provinces with curly red chili sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for curly red chilies are Jambi, Aceh, and West Sumatra.
