Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Cooking Oil Down (Wednesday, March 6, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have been observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (March 6, 2024) at 12:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, Indian mackerel, dry soybean (import), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion experienced the highest price increase of Rp900 (3.34%), reaching Rp27,840 per kg. Farmer-level corn had the lowest price decrease of Rp490 (4.67%), reaching Rp10,000 per kg.
