Food Prices Today, December 05, in West Sumatra: Onions Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Today's prices for several food commodities in West Sumatra are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (5/12/2025) at 16:13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Only red onions saw a price increase.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities like curly red chili and bird's eye red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions saw the highest jump of Rp278 (0.64%) to Rp43,528 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bird's eye red chili fell the deepest by Rp1,111 (1.53%) to Rp71,389 per kg.
