Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Rice, Onion, and Beef Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (29/01/2025) at 10:20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, pure beef, skipjack tuna, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, packaged cooking oil, medium rice, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp8,125 (19.4%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the largest price decrease, down by Rp659 (5.96%) to Rp10,400 per kg.

5. Skipjack Tuna: Rp50,000 per kg (up 19.4%)
6. Milkfish: Rp49,400 per kg (up 14.05%)
7. Garlic Bulb: Rp46,200 per kg (up 4.58%)
8. Mackerel: Rp45,000 per kg (up 12.5%)
9. Red Onion: Rp44,000 per kg (up 5.65%)
10. Broiler Chicken: Rp41,857 per kg (up 8.37%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,563 per kg (up 3.97%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,400 per liter (down 3.71%)
