Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta, D.I.: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have been observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (March 28, 2025) at 14.03 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, granulated sugar, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), curly red chilies, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, large red chilies, packaged wheat flour, red chilies, and loose wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,059 (1.51%) to Rp138,118 per kg. Red chilies saw the steepest price drop, down Rp2,364 (2.54%) to Rp90,818 per kg.
