Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (7/6/2024) at 10:25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, curly red chilies, broiler chicken, granulated sugar, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp2,000 (6.5%) to Rp32,750 per kg. Broiler chicken prices decreased the least by Rp1,680 (4.65%) to Rp34,420 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Central Java according to Bapanas as of June 7, 2024, at 10:25 WIB.
