Today's Food Prices February 24 in DKI Jakarta: Oil, Rice and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Drop

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to drop compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (February 24, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

The only commodity with a price increase was broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, bulk palm cooking oil, shallots, large red chili, and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp167 (0.53%) to Rp31,917 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices dropped the most by Rp5,625 (4.88%) to Rp109,583 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp42,069 per kg (down 1.14%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp40,194 per kg (down 0.52%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp31,917 per kg (up 0.53%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,333 per liter (down 0.2%)
