Lampung's Food Prices Today: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (28/8/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, medium-grade rice (SHP), premium rice, dry soybean (import), and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase of Rp270 (5.96%) to Rp4,800 per kg. The price of curly red chilies saw the sharpest decrease of Rp2,930 (7.99%) to Rp33,760 per kg.
