Bali's Daily Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (22/4/2024) at 16.53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, chicken meat, garlic bulbs, farmer-level corn, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,050 (5.1%) to Rp42,230 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp400 (5.16%) to Rp7,350 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,100 per kg (up 1.11%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,230 per kg (up 0.75%)
