Chicken Egg Prices Highest in These 10 Provinces (Wednesday, February 23, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 28,910 per kg, data as of Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 29,525 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 45,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, chicken eggs were sold at Rp 40,700 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 33,500 per kg, North Sumatra Rp 31,900 per kg, and North Kalimantan Rp 29,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for chicken eggs are Bangka Belitung Islands, Central Java, and East Java.
