Rice Prices in East Kalimantan Province's Traditional Markets Decreased by 2.44% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the price of rice in traditional markets in East Kalimantan province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Regarding the price over the past month, the price of rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp16,400.

Meanwhile, the price of rice in traditional markets in East Kalimantan over the past three months has fallen by 1.84%. According to historical records of food prices on the PIHPS price panel, the price of rice in traditional markets in East Kalimantan province is traded at Rp16,300.

The record high for rice prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2021 with an increase of 13.77%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2021 with a decrease of -12.1%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan show eight commodities decreased and 18 others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Medium-Sized Red Onion, Granulated Sugar, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Red Onion, Grade I Low-Quality Rice, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, and Local Granulated Sugar.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in East Kalimantan province:

7. Large Red Chili per Kg Rp151,300 per kg (up 13.63%)
8. Medium-Sized Garlic per Kg Rp77,450 per kg (up 6.17%)
9. Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp17,700 per kg (down 1.67%)
10. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp18,250 per kg (down 2.67%)
11. Red Onion per Kg Rp67,450 per kg (down 15.9%)
