Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken and Beef Prices Drop (Tuesday, March 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (12/3/2024) at 11:11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include Indian mackerel, iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chili peppers, curly red chilies, granulated sugar, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, rising by Rp510 (4.86%) to Rp11,000 per kg. The commodity with the lowest price decrease was curly red chilies, falling by Rp4,880 (8.12%) to Rp55,250 per kg.
