Bali Food Prices Wednesday (18/9): Chili Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (18/9/2024) at 13.13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, chicken eggs, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, shallots, and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp660 (1.94%) to Rp34,650 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel decreased the most, by Rp1,180 (3.14%) to Rp36,450 per kg.
