The price of medium-quality II rice in East Java's traditional markets remained at Rp13,600 per kilogram over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium grade II rice in traditional markets in East Java Province is recorded at Rp13,600. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly unchanged over the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium grade II rice in traditional markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp13,600.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium grade II rice in traditional markets in East Java over the last three months has increased by 1.87% from the previous price of Rp13,350.

The record high for the daily price of medium grade II rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2016 with an increase of 43.37%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in July 2016 at -30.6%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities today in East Java show 14 commodities decreased and nine others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include: Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Premium Quality Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Loose Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.
