Green Chili Pepper Prices at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in East Nusa Tenggara province is recorded at Rp61,250. This price is up Rp6,250 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets has increased from Rp52,500.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in East Nusa Tenggara over the past three months has increased by 63.33% from the previous price of Rp37,500.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2016 with an increase of 98.11%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in December 2016 with a decrease of -65.15%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Nusa Tenggara show seven commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar (daily in Traditional Markets by Province), Granulated Sugar (daily in Traditional Markets by Province), Low-Quality Rice Type II, Medium-Quality Rice Type II, Chicken Meat (daily in Traditional Markets by Province), Fresh Broiler Chicken (daily in Traditional Markets by Province), and Local Granulated Sugar (daily in Traditional Markets by Province).
