Today's Food Prices in Lampung: Rice, Sugar, and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (8/6/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, red onions, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp3,020 (9.43%) to Rp35,050 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most by Rp4,030 (8.24%) to Rp44,890 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Lampung according to Bapanas as of June 8, 2024, at 10:36 WIB.

5. Red Chilies: Rp39,250 per kg (down 0.91%)
6. Chicken Meat: Rp35,980 per kg (up 3.39%)
7. Mackerel: Rp35,050 per kg (up 9.43%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,790 per kg (down 0.79%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp27,130 per kg (down 4.2%)
10. Milkfish: Rp27,050 per kg (down 2.7%)
