Chicken Egg Prices in North Maluku Highest in Indonesia (Friday, June 2, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 33,650 per kg, data as of Friday, June 2, 2023. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 34,340 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 52,000 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 29,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Sulawesi, the price of chicken eggs was sold at Rp 45,550 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 41,150 per kg, West Papua Rp 40,300 per kg, and North Sumatra Rp 36,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with chicken egg sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken egg selling prices are Jambi, North Kalimantan, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
