Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices Today: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 11:14 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, chicken eggs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest, up by Rp1,625 (4.02%) to Rp42,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most, down by Rp5,161 (6.91%) to Rp69,545 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp44,000 per kg (up 3.68%)
7. Garlic Bulbs: Rp43,000 per kg (down 0.81%)

9. Mackerel: Rp42,000 per kg (up 4.02%)
