Today's Food Prices in Aceh: Chili Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (18/5/2024) at 16.10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, chicken eggs, premium rice, shallots, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, fine iodized salt, chicken meat, Indian mackerel, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp5,000 (12.5%) to Rp45,000 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the lowest price decrease of Rp590 (2.29%) to Rp25,140 per kg.
