Local White Sugar Prices in Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:46 PM WIB, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province has decreased by Rp 100 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 16,150.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp 15,800.

Meanwhile, the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in the Riau Islands over the past three months has increased by 1.25% from the previously recorded price of Rp 15,950.

The record high for the daily price of local granulated sugar in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 20.09%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -16.73%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in the Riau Islands show 11 commodities decreased and 12 others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Lower Grade I Rice, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Grade 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Lower Grade II Rice, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Riau Islands Province:
