Sugar Prices in Gorontalo Increased by 10.74% in a Week

The price of granulated sugar in Gorontalo was sold at Rp 16,500 per kg on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Compared to other regions, the price change in this region was the highest in the last week.

According to daily monitoring of staple food commodity data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of granulated sugar in Gorontalo has increased by 10.74% in a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the price 30 days earlier, the price of granulated sugar in this region has increased by 10.74%. Over the past year, the highest price ever recorded for granulated sugar in modern markets was Rp 16,250 per kg.

For the period January-February 2022, the price of granulated sugar in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 10.74% compared to the previous month.

The price of granulated sugar reached its lowest point at Rp 14,900 per kg on Monday, January 3, 2022. The highest price ever reached was around Rp 16,500 per kg.

Nationally, the price of granulated sugar began to rise towards the end of 2021. The average price of granulated sugar in modern markets was Rp 13,800 per kg, up 1.38% compared to the end of last week.
