Bali Food Prices Tuesday (November 5th): What's the Price of Chicken?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (5/11/2024) at 14:18 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, milkfish, and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,150 (6.69%) to Rp18,350 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies experienced the steepest price drop of Rp1,140 (3.75%) to Rp29,250 per kg.
