Lampung Region's Latest Food Prices: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Friday, January 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (12/1/2024) at 15.43 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, kembung fish, bandeng fish, medium rice, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, tongkol fish, farmer-level corn, pure beef, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp750 (2.13%) to Rp35,910 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp990 (2.03%) to Rp47,790 per kg.
