Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Chicken and Sugar Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (14/10/2024) at 12.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, Indian mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, red cayenne peppers, farmer-level corn, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken meat increased the most, by Rp1,430 (4.03%) to Rp36,920 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn decreased the most, by Rp1,210 (14.02%) to Rp7,420 per kg.
