Indonesia Food Prices Tuesday (December 10th): Rice Up, Oil Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 09.30 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, farmer-level corn, chicken eggs, mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp300 (5.04%) to Rp6,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of skipjack tuna decreased the most, by Rp560 (1.79%) to Rp30,810 per kg.
