Central Java Food Prices Tuesday (March 11th): Rice, Salt, and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/03/2025) at 13.07 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, dry soybean (import), milkfish, mackerel, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, curly red chilies, packaged cooking oil, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp285 (0.89%) to Rp32,441 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies saw the largest price decrease of Rp1,104 (2.8%) to Rp38,391 per kg.
