Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (May 7, 2024) at 2:33 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, shallots, milkfish, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp990 (2.72%) to Rp37,340 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease, down by Rp2,220 (4.43%) to Rp47,910 per kg.
