Prices of Medium II Quality Rice in These 10 Provinces Are the Highest (Tuesday, November 15, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 13,030 per kg for medium II quality rice (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 13,020 per kg.

The price of medium II quality rice in modern markets in Banten was the most expensive in Indonesia, at Rp 15,250 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of medium II quality rice in this province has not changed. The highest price ever recorded in this region was Rp 18,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Sumatra, medium II quality rice was sold for Rp 14,750 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of medium II quality rice in Riau was Rp 13,400 per kg, Riau Islands Rp 13,050 per kg, and North Sumatra Rp 12,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, eight provinces had medium II quality rice sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for medium II quality rice were West Java, South Sumatra, and Jambi.
