Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (3/1/2025) at 15.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, SPHP rice, mackerel, milkfish, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp80 (1.48%) to Rp5,480 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp1,010 (1.65%) to Rp60,070 per kg.
