Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in Kolaka Utara Regency are the mainstay sectors, contributing the largest share to the 2023 GRDP with a value of Rp4.37 trillion. This represents a 1.35% growth compared to the previous year's Rp3.98 trillion.
Second is the mining and quarrying sector, which grew by 13.39% to Rp2.24 trillion, followed by the construction sector, which grew by 6.01% to Rp1.8 trillion.
Finally, rounding out the top five GRDP sectors in Kolaka Utara Regency is the education services sector, valued at Rp269.81 billion. According to BPS, this sector grew by 2.92% over the past year from the previous year's Rp252.27 billion.
