Bali Region Food Prices Tuesday (23/4): Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (23/4/2024) at 16.53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, medium rice, granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red onions, dry soybeans (import), fine iodized salt, broiler chicken, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp80 (1.09%) to Rp7,430 per kg. Mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp1,660 (4.32%) to Rp36,760 per kg.
